History
2nd Heald Green Scouts was officially formed in 1959. To begin with, meetings were held directly inside the Church, but by 1967, the group had set up prefab scout huts. Disastrously, on April 16th, 1972, one of the huts was completely destroyed by a fire. Rising from the ashes of the fire to build a new permanent home, the group proudly adopted the name "Phoenix." Today, our group continues to thrive, and meets throughout the week at the Scout Hut on Brown Lane. Source

- Squirrels: Ages 4–6, meet Thursdays 6pm to 6:45pm
- Beavers: Ages 6–8, meet Wednesdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm
- Cubs: Ages 8–10, meet Tuesdays 7pm to 8:15pm
- Scouts: Ages 10–14, meet Mondays 7pm to 8:45pm
- Explorers: Ages 14–18, meet Thursdays 7pm to 9pm
We follow the term dates for Stockport (primary) for all sections.
